We love to hear the sounds of children learning, laughing, singing, and playing. We have a kid-friendly church where they are nurtured and loved. We work hand in hand in with parents in building a strong spiritual foundation in our children. Our workers in Children’s Ministry are committed and caring Christian people. WHAT'S HAPPENING Sunday School: 9:15 – 10:20 Preteens attend worship service and sit together Children's Worship for Kindergarten -4th Grade leave the worship service at a designated time. Splendid Session: Worship time for our threes and fours during morning worship. Three year olds meet in the nursery area, and four year olds meet on second floor. Extended Session for Babies -Twos in the Nursery during worship service Children's Kid's Time Missions Wednesdays, 5:45 p.m. .(Beginning this Fall) Graded choir groups will begin this fall (Sundays) at 6:00 p.m. Our Nursery provides care for Babies, Creepers, Toddlers, and Twos. You will be welcomed by a Nursery Greeter in the check-in area. Parents must sign in. An information sheet about your child must be filled out and updated as needed. We use a matching system and beepers for Safety & Security in our Nursery area. You will be given one of two matching animals that will fit on your key chain or in your pocket.. When you pick up your child bring the animal to match the animal and name of your child.. Beepers are given to parents of babies and creepers and visitors. If you have a toddler or two year old you may request a beeper.
Please label all personal items with your child’s first and last name before arriving. This helps us keep track of your child’s items. For Nursing Mothers Monte Vista wants your preschooler to have a happy, positive experience at church. We want each child to learn that God loves them. Also, we want them to feel that this is their church and are a part of things that take place.
Location: Kid’s Crossing is the place! It is located on the lower level under the sanctuary. It is our desire for the children to be excited about studying God’s word. We use Rotation method of Teaching except for Advent and special church wide studies. Children’s Graded Choirs: Sundays, 6:00 p.m. Location: Our preteen Class is located on the lower floor. It is a fun exciting place of their very own. Our Preteens sit together as a group during worship. One or two of our preteen workers sit with them Sonrise Preschool is our weekday program meeting on Wednesdays and Thursdays, 9 am - 2 pm.. Registration is required. We have classes for infants – kindergarten readiness. We provide loving care with many learning opportunities for you little one.
MOPS MOPS is a group for Mothers of Preschoolers and meets the second Monday of each month, 6-8 pm at MVBC. This is the only MOPS group that meets in the evening in order to include theose mothers who are unable to attend morning groups. There is no Moppets (childcare) for this group.
