Recent Trips:

Bay St. Louis, MS
Several members of our church traveled to Bay St. Louis in February to assist with clean-up from the devastation of Hurricane Katrina.

Perry County, Alabama
For the past several years Monte Vista has sent a mission team to minister to the residents of Perry County, Alabama – one of the most poverty stricken counties in the USA. This annual week of mission involvement is done as a part of Seeds of Hope a mission project sponsored by The Cooperative Baptist Fellowship.
This year the trip is scheduled for the week of June 19-24. As before volunteers of all ages will be contributing, through a variety of ministries including Bible Schools, construction, and evangelistic outreach. Click here for updates on this trip.

YOUTH PASSPORT MISSION TRIP to MACON GA

Our youth spent a week in Macon GA at Mercer University the last of June and returned July 4. Mission projects included removing brush from Habitat home sites, gardening, and working with children.
