The Gathering:

For thousands of years followers of Jesus have been gathering together in order to remind themselves, one another, and the world that new creation is not only possible sometime in the future, but also now, within and around us.  So in some ways this gathering is very much like those gatherings, and in others ways it's quite different.   Suffice it to say that at the bottom of all questions about style, substance, and approach is the idea that the spirit that sustained and enlivened those early Christian meetings is the same spirit that moves this one.
