S.N.A.C.

S.N.A.C. stands for Sunday Night After Church! About every 6 weeks we have a S.N.A.C. which is a social event following the Sunday night Bible study time.

Parties

No youth ministry is complete without plenty of social interaction! Each month a special event or activity is planned just for the purpose of involving youth in a clean, wholesome environment. These activities throughout the year could include: lock-ins, retreats, parties such as Halloween, Christmas, Valentines, Swim, Lake Day, just names a few!!

The fellowship activities are scheduled by the youth council. This group is not only responsible for the scheduling, but also for the planning details. Involving the older youth in organizing an event is one of the training methods of leadership.

Camping Trip

Each year a big camping trip is planned! Youth who like the great outdoors really thrive in this different environment. While camping, youth are randomly placed in teams that are assigned a schedule of activities they must accomplish during the weekend. Usually this is cooking a meal, cleaning up following a meal, planning and leading in game times and/or spiritual growth times. Everyone is expected to help out and do their part! Leaders are rarely disappointed!

We love the great outdoors and a yearly camping trip to the Great Smoky Mountains is always a hit! This year we camped at Elkmont Camping Grounds in late March. This is a tent camping experience where we "rough it" without shower facilities!
